I am pretty happy to work in the company I work today, because people above me actually care about the code being written
about things properly working not just working, they care about safety, they actually care.
And then it makes me look back to all the times that I saw people that do not care about the tech, they care about themselves, and looking smart or as gh says "getting rich".
Most of the people are not gonna make it, and I meant it. I love tech, I am curious enough to be part of the software development world and even then, I still get stressed out while developing stuff I am not used to and when things don't work the way they are intended, and tech can and will be frustrating at some point.
The thing is, if you do not love it you will have to find a way to vent out that stress, and that is the point that I am trying to get.
People treat others like they are less, you can see that behavior in programming discord groups, forums and what not. And I am tired of that shit.
Who cares if an intern or junior does not know how to properly setup k8s? Teach them because one day someone taught you.
"Oh no, no one taught me, I learned it by myself".
So you are telling me Oh herald of the knowledge that every book and article you read, every forum that you asked questions, where all written by you and answered by yourself?
If so, then you did it by yourself, otherwise be grateful and fucking teach others.
And for the ones that actually don't care and do not want to learn, please, leave. There are too much of your kind in the tech world already.
